The brief was to combine a water bottle and protein shaker while keeping powder dry until use. Our scope covered industrial design, mechanical engineering, and color, materials, and finishes.
Separating water from powder
Separate chambers for water and powder were integrated into a compact internal assembly, with the sealing and release mechanism designed to keep the contents isolated until use. The final design balanced reliability, ease of use, and manufacturability.
Twist to mix
We designed a twist mechanism that releases powder into the water below. This lets the same bottle hold drinking water before it is used to mix a shake.
