Our scope for Aliph Medical covered the industrial design of an OCT retinal scanner, the accompanying software, and the website.

Patient positioning
Removing the chin rest changed the relationship between the patient, clinician, and device. The enclosure was shaped to provide clear access around the eyes while comfortably accommodating the patient’s face, chest, and body. These ergonomic and clinical requirements directly informed the proportions and geometry of the system.
Design development
As the architecture took shape, the design was refined around stability, clinician access, visual feedback, and manufacturability. Each element was resolved as part of the broader clinical workflow, resulting in a form that feels both purposeful and approachable.

The website
The website was designed to explain the technology and introduce the company. The work covered page structure, product imagery, and responsive design for desktop, tablet, and mobile layouts.
